Property managers in North Dakota must be licensed real estate brokers, unless their management duties do not include leasing activities, in which case a license is not required. Licenses can be obtained through the North Dakota Real Estate Commission.
To qualify for a license, an applicant must have at least 2 years' active involvement as a licensed real estate salesperson (or equivalent, as determined by the Commission). He or she must also complete the required course hours and pass the examination.
